• WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN VISITING MAD JACK'S HAUNTED HOUSE?
  Prepare yourself for a fun, engaging, and immersive experience that will keep you on your toes from the moment you arrive, all within a safe and controlled environment. Throughout your visit, you’ll be entertained by in-line performances and might even cross paths with some of your favorite Twisted Outcasts, like Dex Smirkwood, Lucy Sparks, and our tiniest witch, ready to help you select your perfect level of scare. 
  
  Don’t miss Jack's Show, where you might be picked to be part of the performance. ​
  
  Going through the haunt takes a minimum of 30 to 45 minutes, but don’t be surprised if it takes a bit longer—especially if you get lost in the haunt and become part of the story!

 

• WHAT TYPES OF TICKETS DO YOU OFFER?

  NO CONTACT:  I prefer to watch my nightmare from a safe distance
  Navigate through tight spaces and winding hallways as you experience the eerie atmosphere and spooky scenes. While we’ll try our best not to touch you, beware of the inevitable bumps in the night.​
  
  LIGHT CONTACT:  A Touch of Terror is enough for me
  Just enough to keep you on edge.  Embrace the thrill with carefully controlled encounters from our sinister actors.
  
  FULL CONTACT:  I want to be in the Heart of Horror
  Engage up-close encounters designed to push your limits offering a next-level scare option for those who crave a bit more intensity without crossing into anything overly extreme.  We won't make you do anything you don't want to do.  Your experience should be fun and exciting.  This is not an extreme haunt.
  
  Will I get hurt, undergo extreme actions like head shaving, or be forced to eat anything unpleasant?
  No, you won’t have to worry about extreme actions like getting hurt, having your head shaved, or being forced to eat anything gross at Mad Jack’s Haunted House.  While Mad Jack’s Full Contact Fear experience is designed to be scary and intense, it’s all about having fun. This is not an extreme haunt.
  
  Rest assured, our actors are highly trained professionals who know how to deliver scares in a safe and controlled environment. They’re skilled in maintaining the thrill while ensuring your safety is always the top priority.
  
  If at any point during your Full Contact experience it gets to be too much, simply remove your red necklace or say the safe word, "apples," and you can continue through the haunt as a regular guest. This way, you can enjoy the rest of your visit at a level of intensity that’s comfortable for you. We want you to have an unforgettable experience that’s exciting and fun—not one that causes real harm or discomfort.​​

• WHERE CAN I BUY MY TICKET?  
  No Contact and Light Contact:  Tickets can be purchased both online and in person.

  Full Contact:  We highly recommend purchasing Full Contact tickets online due to limited daily availability.  Each person in your party must complete a waiver form and bring a government ID as proof of age.  A limited number of Full Contact tickets may be available at the box office, but they could be sold out, so it's best to secure your spot online.

  Can I change my Special Holiday Show ticket date? Yes, changes to dates are allowed within the two Special Holiday Show dates (December 14th and 28th).  A $2.00 change fee per ticket applies for each change.
  
  Are the Special Holiday Show tickets refundable? Special holiday flexible refund policies apply (see below):
  5 Days or More: Full refund if canceled 5 days or more before your selected date.
  Within 5 Days to 24 Hours: Partial refund with a $2.50 service fee and a $5.00 cancellation fee per ticket.
  Day of Event: Cancellations are not permitted on the day of the event.
   

• ARE THERE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS for the Special Holiday Show?
  Well, this is a scary haunted house intended for mature audiences. Check our guidelines below:
  
  No Contact tickets, kids 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.  
  Light Contact tickets are available for guests 16 years and older (photo ID for proof of age required).
  Full Contact tickets are available with the following requirements: DOWNLOAD WAIVER
  
  Minors (16-17 years old): May participate with or without an adult, but must provide a signed consent waiver from a parent or legal guardian and show proof of age, as well as proof of parentage or legal guardianship. DOWNLOAD WAIVER
  
  All Full Contact guests must have a signed waiver and show proof of age before entry.
  
  Acceptable documentation includes one of the following:
  Government-Issued ID: A driver's license or state ID
  Birth Certificate:  A copy of the minor’s birth certificate showing the adult's name;
  Legal Guardianship Papers: Official court documents that establish legal guardianship.
  
  Adults (18 and older):  Guests must sign a waiver and show proof of age to participate.

• WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
  Mad Jack's Haunted House is located at 114 N. Washington St. in historic and mostly haunted downtown Ardmore, OK.  
  Please enter the ticketing tent from 2nd Avenue NE to get your wristband.
   

• WHERE IS PARKING?
  Public parking is available throughout downtown Ardmore area and within minutes of Mad Jack's Haunted House.

• IS MAD JACK'S HAUNTED HOUSE SCARY?
  Mad Jack's Haunted House has been terrifying the unsuspecting for years, so if you have any fears, rest assured they’ll be uncovered here. WARNING: You are entering at your own risk!  If you have a heart condition, suffer from vertigo, or have a history of seizures, or sensitives to fog or strobe lights, we strongly advise against going through.
   

• AM I ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE ACTORS? 
  Don’t even think about it. WE’RE WATCHING YOU!  Mad Jack's Haunted House is equipped with both security and scarecam cameras throughout the haunt.  Please keep your hands to yourself,

 

• ARE BAGS AND BACKPACKS ALLOWED? 
  No.  Please leave your bags in the car or at home. Our team is unable to store personal belongings.

 

• CAN I TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS?  WHAT ABOUT SELFIES? 
  Pictures and selfies are allowed with our well-behaved characters OUTSIDE only.  Once inside the haunt, you will not be allowed to take pictures or videos.  Our creatures don’t like flash photography or videos – some are shy, while others will likely
  tear your face off. 
   

• IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?  
  Well, this is a scary haunted house intended for mature audiences. For No Contact tickets, kids 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Light Contact tickets are available for guests 16 years and older (proof of age required).

• WHAT IF I'M PREGNANT?  
  Congratulations on your little pumpkin!  If you’re expecting, we recommend you proceed with caution. It’s best to consult with your doctor before entering the haunt, and remember, it’s at your own risk.  Please note that pregnant guests are not permitted to experience the Light or Full Contact options for safety reasons.

• IS SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED?  WHAT ABOUT OTHER QUESTIONABLE ITEMS?  
  No.  No smoking.  No vaping.  Seriously, no pets.  Definitely, no weapons.  No alcoholic beverages.  No cameras or video – you get the picture!  No laser pointers or flashlights!  No food or beverages!  Be smart.
   

• ARE WEAPONS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY OR IN THE HAUNT?
  No, weapons are strictly prohibited on the property and inside the haunt. For the safety of all our guests and staff, we do not allow any kind of weapons, including but not limited to firearms, knives, or any other dangerous items.  Please leave any such items at home or secured in your vehicle, as they are not permitted in any area of Mad Jack’s Haunted House.  Our security team will be conducting checks to ensure everyone’s safety.

 

• WHERE ARE THE BATHROOMS LOCATED?  
  There will be a lovely collection of port-a-potties located on the grounds near the ticketing tent for your use.

• IS MAD JACK'S HAUNTED HOUSE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
  Absolutely!  Mad Jack’s Haunted House spans over 13,000 square feet of thrills, and it’s ADA compliant. We offer a wheelchair lift to ensure everyone can meet Mad Jack Butcher and his entire cast of Twisted Outcasts.
   

• CAN I BE REFUSED ENTRY INTO MAD JACK'S HAUNTED HOUSE? 
  Yes, Mad Jack’s Haunted House reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason. We recommend you behave accordingly.

 

• WILL YOU OPEN THE HAUNT IF IT'S RAINING?
  Yes, a little rain should be the least of your worries. Plus, our covered queue line will keep you dry while you wait.

• CAN I WEAR MY FAVORITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME?
  Yes.  Just leave the full face mask at home—we need to tell our monsters apart from yours.

• DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING?
  Mad Jack’s Haunted House is a privately owned and operated company in the state of Oklahoma.  The state of Oklahoma does not currently maintain a mask mandate.
