The twisted outcasts

Birdie

Birdie was born in secret within the abandoned west wing of Black Hills Sanitarium, raised by her mother among rotting halls, forgotten patients, and whispered stories.

Never knowing the outside world, she grew up believing silence was sacred and that death was not an ending, but a peaceful release from suffering.

As the screams and madness of the asylum surrounded her, Birdie began collecting toe tags from the dead and writing her Rules of the Quiet across the walls, convinced it was her duty to bring peace to those in pain.

When the sanitarium burned, her mother perished in the flames—but Birdie survived, disappearing into legend as the Quiet Maker, a child who still wanders where the forgotten dead refuse to rest.

poppy Puddlefoot

Poppy Puddlefoot was once a gifted young circus acrobat whose infectious energy and fearless performances delighted audiences wherever he traveled.

After a devastating fall left him scarred and forever changed, he disappeared into the shadows of the carnival, reinventing himself behind a handcrafted mask and mastering the arts of illusion, misdirection, and dark magic.

Though his laughter remains loud and his antics playful, Poppy hides a deep sadness beneath his jester's smile, using humor to keep the darkness at bay.

Today, he stands among the Twisted Outcasts, bringing equal parts wonder and chaos to every performance while fiercely protecting the strange family he now calls home.

Rictus reed

Born beneath the canvas of the Butcher Brothers Traveling Circus, Remy Reed grew up surrounded by greasepaint, rigging rope, and the sound of laughter echoing through the tents.

Once a gifted performer known for his silent comedy and expressive mime work, a tragic accident left him hidden behind a porcelain jester mask and forever changed the course of his life.

When Edward Butcher abandoned the circus, Remy followed, believing he could restore the wonder they had both lost. Now known only as Rictus Reed, he wanders among the Twisted Outcasts in silence, a grieving harlequin performing for memories that refuse to die.
